- A few walls of this 1829 factory, in ruins even when Appleton photographed it, still stand (2018) as part of the Ivy Mills National Historic District, in Concord Township. The ruins of the former paper mill, built by the Willcox family, are located near the corner of Ivy Mills Rd. and Pole Cat Rd., close to the West Branch of Chester Creek.
