Ariano Restaurant began construction in 2006 and proudly opened its doors in November 2010. Since day one, we’ve strived to remain a family-run restaurant rooted in the heart of Media, PA. Inspired by our deep Italian heritage and grateful for the opportunities America has provided our family, we continue to share our traditions, flavors, and passion with the community we love.
View across the loading dock toward Gayley Street and Baltimore Avenue, showing Pinocchio's Pizza on the northeast corner, and a Texaco gas station on the southest corner. This building, which replaced a municipal metered parking lot, was dedicated on November 17, 1962. Frank Leees is the small man in front of the crowd, with a camera around his neck.

HAIR FRINGES ON MEDIA LIONS CLUB MEMBERS – Nine members of Media Lions Club are sporting beads for the Media Centennial Celebration in June, and rightly so, for this club is the sponsorship unit for the beard-raising contest that has set the razor industry back three months in the county seat. I. Frank Lees, treasurer of the beard committee, cannot raise a beard, so he holds the Lions emblem for his hairy friends. The shrubbery growers, from left to right, are: Maurice Bevan, Donald L. Snively, Erich Bubat, Frank Berry, A. Fred Manno, chairman of the beard committee; Dr. Emil A. Lintzmeyer, Francis Gray, club president; George Jeffries, and Percy Roberts.
