Poster reads: Fall in! The United States is at war. It is time to wake up! Company H, 6th Regiment is a Delaware County company. Enlist in Company H and be with your friends instead of being drafted with strangers. Show your local pride. Media Armory is open for recruits every evening from 7 to 10 o'clock, except Saturday and Sunday. Press of Chester Times, Chester, Pa.
Clayton and Jay Worrall, sons of local builder, Winfield Worrall, in front of their family home at 109 E Sixth Street in Media, sometime around 1910. The photo was given to us by Jay's son, Jay Jr., who visited us in 2008 at the age of 88. Jay Jr. was born in the house, and spent many summers there with his Aunt Charlotte (Lottie), who inherited the house from her father and lived there through the 1960s.
Probably in Media. This is more a sailboat than a yacht, and is being stored in a yard. The unidentified owner (perhaps builder) of this boat appears in some of the pictures.
