Photograph, probably by E. V. Streeper, of the hardware store that occupied the Media Ledger building for more than 75 years. The store closed sometime between 2004 and 2008.
Harp Property, Glenolden
This series of photos was most likely taken as part of the legal case involving Mr. Harp, as noted in the Chester Times of May 13,1903: "The jury of view in the case of L. L. Harp vs. the borough of Glenolden to recover damages for the change of grade of sidewalks on Chester Pike west of Ashland Avenue, will meet on the premises of the prosecutor on Friday afternoon to fix damages."
